I’m BACK! How is everybody doing? Had too much of a good holiday and not wanting to stop? Well I have one of those days. Unfortunately not today for today is….Reflection time! 2008 was a year full of accomplished milestones – completed my 1.5 years degree, gotten engaged, accepted my first corporate job and of course, attending a graduation ceremony! It’s really difficult to believe I have come this far. I’d like to thank my family and friends for always being there for me and giving me all the support in the world – oh, means so much to me! There were 2 challenges that tested my comfort zone throughout the year: - Engagement party planning
- Fitting into the new work culture
They were two (2) truly challenging tasks simply because I’ve never been there before in my whole 24th years of life on Earth! Though I must say that the end outcome had made me rethink about my skills building promises – Earlier in 2008, I set out a plan to seek a new hobby, learn a new skill and polished the ones I have. New Hobby: Photography New Skill: Organisation/Culture Change Polished Skill: Planning Ahhh..it feels good to know sometimes we do achieve our goals (especially when we set it everyday).
